30 Day Blog Challenge: Days 14-17

I know I've stayed behind, but it's been really hard to blog every day with school and my schedule with the boys. Anyways...this should catch me up :)

Day 14: A Picture You love

I have 3. These pictures are from the hospital the day Cayson was born almost 2 years ago! I want to have these blown up and framed because I think they are so sweet. These pictures show Hayden meeting Cayson for the very first time. I especially love the second one of Hayden and Josh looking at each other smiling! So sweet :)

Day 15: Bible Verse

My 2 favorites...

"For I know the plans I have for you, declares the Lord, plans to prosper you and not harm you, plans to give you hope and a future"- Jeremiah 29:11

"Don't worry about anything; instead pray about everything. Tell God what you need, and thank him for all he has done. Then you will experience God's peace, which exceeds anything we can understand. His peace will guard your hearts and minds as you live in Christ Jesus." - Philippians 4:6-7
Day 16: Dream House

This is actually the picture of the house I want. I love it!
Things I really want in my house...
  • Large kitchen with plenty of counter space and an island
  • 4 bedrooms 2 1/2 baths (at least)
  • Finished basement
  • I love the ranch style houses with a full finished basement
  • Large backyard
  • Bedroom with sitting area and fireplace
  • Huge walk in closet

30 Day Blog Challenge: Day 10

Day 10: Something you are afraid of

I am afraid of something happening to my boys.

I am afraid of car wrecks and my family being in one. I hate to see them...even small fender benders.

I am scared of bugs. I know that one's silly, but seriously I can't stand any sort of bug and I get cold chills when I see them especially spiders!

I am nervous about not getting a teaching job once I'm finished with school in May.

30 Day Blog Challenge: Day 9

Day 9: A Picture of your Friends

My best friend Casey. I didn't remain close to many of my high school friends, but Casey and I have been friends since Junior year in high school. I only wish we had become friends sooner!
                                                     I was a bridesmaid in Casey's wedding.

Day 8: A Place You've Traveled To

I've actually been lots of places but unfortunately I do not have any pictures on the computer and I'm too lazy to try and find them and scan them on. But for my high school graduation, my family and I went to Hawaii. We took a cruise and it was so much fun! Hawaii is so pretty and I would love to go back one day with Josh. We were dating at the time, but he didn't get to go with me-and I think it would be such a fun place to go-the two of us!

30 Day Blog Challenge

I've seen this on several other blogs. I thought it was a neat idea so I'm going to do this too. I'm starting a little late though so I'm going to do days 1-5 in the same post!

Day 1-Recent Picture and 15 facts!

A picture of my boys and me at the park last Sunday.  (I'm having hair issues in this picture, but it's cute of the boys:) )

If you don't know me, my name is Paige. I am a 23 year old mom, wife and student.I grew up in South Carolina as did my husband, Josh. We moved to Georgia a couple of years ago. I still consider SC home and probably always will. I'm an elementary education major. I should graduate next May and I'm really excited to start my career. I think one day I would really love to be a guidance counselor. I love my kids and have enjoyed being at home with them, but I'm not a great SAHM and I'm okay admitting that! I'm too career oriented. I think it just runs in my family. All the women in my family have always worked and had successful careers.

FACTS
  1. Josh and I are working on our fifth year of marriage and every year of marriage has only gotten better.
  2. I LOVE being a mom to boys! They're so much fun and I like to think that I'm the princess in our house:)
  3. Some people say they miss high school- I would NEVER go back to high school. I'm so content with my life right now and couldn't stand the drama and back stabbing that went on in high school.
  4. I was a competitive gymnasts for many years and quit to cheer in middle school and high school. Quitting gymnastics is the one thing in my life I regret.
  5. I love the Clemson Tigers, but my husband is a South Carolina fan. We are a house divided, which makes things interesting come Football Season.
  6. I am not a big meat eater, but it's hard with 3 boys to completely eliminate it.
  7. I'm a pretty picky eater and I eat really slow.
  8. I love anything pink!
  9. My favorite colors to wear are pink and black and I have tons of both.
  10. I love to read!
  11. My husband and I love to watch tv together at night. We have "our"shows we watch together. That is one of my favorite things to do.
  12. I love to look at house and house decor. I can't wait until we buy another house. (Right now we are in a town home)
  13. I'm really shy until I get to know someone.
  14. I'm on the internet entirely too much!
  15. I love coffee and dessert together!

Day 2 - Meaning Behind Your Blog Name

I think mine's pretty self explanatory. "Living in a Boy's World" is just about my life living in a house full of boys!

Day 3- First Love

I had a few high school crushes, but my first love was my husband. We went to high school together, although he is 2 years older than me. We never really talked in high school. He dated one of my friends, but even then we never really saw each other or talked. The summer after I graduated though, I went over to his place with some friends and we've been pretty inseparable every since! He can be frustrating sometimes, but I can't imagine my life without him. I know it's a "cliche" but I love him more and more every day!!
Day 4- Your Parents

This is my mom and dad! They are pretty great! They have always been there for my brother and me. I look like my mom but act like my dad.

Day 5- Your Siblings

I have one brother. I love my brother so much. We are 5 years apart. (I'm older). We have always been pretty close except when he went through his tattle tale stage :) I don't know what I would do without him.
My parents with my brother and me.

My brother and Hayden last Christmas.

He is a great brother and uncle!

Okay...I think I am all caught up!!

This Past Sunday 10/10 - Picture Overload

I know this is a late post, but I wanted to include it to remember it one day when I look back. This is the first chance I've had to post this. On Sunday-we woke up to get ready to go to church. I know this sound awful, but we just couldn't all get motivated to get ready, which doesn't usually happen so I figured for this one time it was okay. Well, we decided to go to the park. I've been wanting to get some pictures of the boys, especially Cayson, since he will be two in a couple of weeks. We have this really great park near our house. It's beautiful! So we spent the morning there walking around, watching the runners and bike riders and letting the boys play on the playground, which is usually crowded, but since it was a Sunday morning we had it almost entirely to ourselves! The pictures aren't wonderful. Cayson is going through a really clingy stage and wanted us to hold him most of the time instead of cooperating for pictures, but we got some decent ones, I think.
I really like this picture of Cayson. This is just him. He always has that sleepy looking face.

Josh kept taking pictures of the geese.
The lighting is not good in this one, but I like that Josh captured Cayson and me walking behind him like this.
Love this one of Cayson showing his brother saying. He was saying Hay-en(this is how he says Hayden-without the d) look :)

We were trying to get Cayson to go see with Hayden but he refused. Hayden was ready to play football with his daddy!
The geese...again. (Josh took like 20 pictures of the geese) Hah!

                                                                       My cute hubby ;)

My boys playing football! Love it!

Cayson was telling the geese bye. He was saying bye bye duck! :)

I know there's a lot more of Cayson than Hayden, but Hayden wouldn't stop running around and I was really trying to get some 2 year pictures of Cayson for his birthday invitations.
