12 Weeks

How Far Along: 12 weeks 5 days

Size of baby:Size of a lime. He/she is about 2 inches long and half an ounce!

Total Weight Gain/Loss:+8 lbs (I always gain a lot in the first trimester) I think it's my body's way of kind of catching up since I'm pretty small to begin with. I weighed about 104 lbs pre pregnancy.

Maternity Clothes: None yet, but I cannot button ANY of my pants. I have been wearing 1 pairs of shorts that zips on the side and that I can zip about half way and then cover with my shirts. Thankfully, my bella bands came in today!!  I can still wear all of my shirts.

Gender: We do not know yet! We kind of feel like it may be a girl just because this pregnancy has been so much different than my other two. I have been so sick this time around and have been on zofran since about 7 weeks and lots of break outs! Had very minimal nausea with both boys and no breakouts with them, but we'll see! All pregnancy's are different regardless. We'll be thrilled with a boy or a girl!

Movement: none yet! I look forward to this the most!!

Sleep:I sleep fine once I get to sleep, but I have a hard time falling asleep! I have a hard time relaxing at night and I get stressed about having to wake up in the middle of the night to go to the bathroom so right before I know I'm about to fall asleep, I probably get up and go the bathroom about 3 times!

What I miss:Not having to get up in the middle of the night to go to the bathroom.

Cravings: Peaches and salads

Best Moment This Week:Hearing the babies heart beat for the first time on the doppler!

Sweet Surprise baby # 3

Yes, this sweet baby was a complete surprise and shock, but we are so excited for his/her arrival in late January/early February. My due date is February 2nd! I can't wait to find out if we will get another boy or a sweet little girl!! I honestly don't care. I think most everyone is thinking/hoping it's a girl, but I really can see positives to either and will be completely fine with whatever God has given us!!

Job Report!

I got a job!! I've known for about a week, but it became 100% official yesterday when I went to my hiring authorization and signed my contract!! :) I'm so excited. I will be teaching 1st grade. I'm in a very very diverse school and I think I'm going to have some great experiences. I start November 28 and have no idea what I'm doing on that 1st day/week because my students I will have and the parents have no idea their children are being moved. The classes are high in numbers so they hired another teacher (me) and will be taking so 6-7 students out of each class and moving them to me. I know it's going to be quite the transition but I'm up for it! Being a parent, I think it will be harder for the parents than the children. Anyways, I have absolutely NOTHING for a classroom so I'm hoping to get some things this week/weekend so my students do not come to an empty room. I'm not even sure if I will have one on Monday because the principal was having to ask another teacher to move...so I'm a little anxious of the unknown but really excited to finally have a classroom of my own!!  God is so good and I'm so thankful for this blessing right before the holidays! So much pressure and worry will be taken off our shoulders because of this job!

Halloween 2011-Picture Overload

Happy Halloween!! We had a fun October month. We took the boys to the Pumpkin Festival at Stone Mountain. We had a really good time, but I would love to get a membership so we do not feel like we have to stay all day to get our money's worth. There was so much to do and after 4 or 5 hours of walking around, the boys were tried. Josh and I were tired and there was still so much to do. So, it would be nice to have a pass and be able to go whenever we wanted and could just spend a couple hours there each time. We also went to our Fall Festival at church which was a lot of fun. They had all kinds of games, a hay ride, and smores! The boys loved it! Then of course we took the boys trick-or-treating. This was really the first year we lived in a neighborhood where there are lots of kids and lots of house to trick-or-treat at. We ended up walking around for 2 1/2 hours and the boys have WAY too much candy now!! It was fun though!

Now for pictures!! :)

The boys before we left for Stone Mountain. We had a transformer and Spiderman! I really wanted them to be Woody and Buzz from Toy Story, but they had their minds set on their costume and it wasn't worth the battle. I really thought I would have one more year to choose for them though. They are opinionated....not sure where they get that from ;)

The Bubble Man and his huge bubbles! The boys loved this!

They had pumpkin scarecrows you could dress. We didn't dress them but Josh stopped to give one a kiss ;) hah!

Of Course, we had to go on a train ride!
                                                                           So pretty!

                                                                                  On the train!

They had this cute game show called Pumpkin Palooza. Before it started, they had all the kids dance up front.

August 3rd Ramblings

Today, we signed papers for a house we are lease purchasing. We are not quite ready to buy it so we are leasing it for 6 months. We have been back and forth trying to make the best decision and getting all the little details worked out with the realtors and seller the past few weeks. I have been anxious and stressed out about it, but now I'm just excited. I still have some small anxieties, but I guess that is normal anytime you are making a big decision and putting a large sum of money down on something. Anyways, it seems meant to be. We have been watching this house for months. The price kept dropping (it's a short sale-we didn't know that when we were first looking but explains the price drop). Since we weren't quite ready to buy, I decided to send an e-mail implying about possibly doing a lease purchase. The seller just so happened to be relocating and moving out of the house anyways and agreed to the lease purchase. It's in a neighborhood I've wanted to live in for awhile and it's in the school district we want Hayden to go to. It needs a little work-mainly just some new paint. The carpets need to be cleaned (the lady had a cat) and I'm allergic so my allergies act up a little-so we are having the carpet cleaned really well before we move in. Once we buy it, we're going to rip up the carpet anyways and put new hardwoods downstairs and choose a different carpet for upstairs. (It looks fine-just not what I would have chosen). So now we get to start the fun process of packing! We move in September 1st!! (I'll add pictures later!!)

I also wanted to document something funny Hayden said last night! We decided to go to Wild Wings and Josh told Hayden they would see some hot chick there. I of course rolled my eyes and said we should be going to Hooters then. Well we get there not thinking about anymore and Hayden looks out the window and says, "Where are all the hot chickens?" Josh and I just busted out laughing! We had to drag him into the restaurant because I think he thought a bunch of chickens were going to come running out at him! Hah!!

Hilton Head 2011 : Picture Overload

This year, my parents treated my little family and my brother and his friend to a trip to the beach for our graduations. He graduated in May from high school and I graduate next week from college!! We had a really great time and it was nice to get away from the house and just relax. My mom fixed most of our meals and they took us out a nice dinner one night. We were all kind of spoiled and pampered, whether she meant to do that or not-hah! There was a chance of rain the entire week we were there, but we got really lucky and it only rained some Thursday afternoon and late Thursday night. It was cloudy/rainy on Friday as well, but we had already decided to go ahead and go home a day early, which worked out nicely because it wasn't a really pretty day anyways. My sweet, precious Cayson is going through his terrible twos right now and he hadn't gotten as much sleep as he needed during the week, so we were all kind of exhausted and ready to get back to our own beds and routine hoping that would help his attitude a little. Even with his moments of exhaustion, frustration, and temper tantrums we had a good time.

Here's a little recap in pictures:

We had alligators in the pond behind our house we stayed in. Josh loved this. He got to feel like someone from swamp people.

Mom cheesing the first night there.

Josh trying to find an alligator.

The boys and me before going to the beach.

We got them these surfboards when we got there. Seriously, they were the best $34.00 spent!  The boys loved them!

Here's our alligator. We named him Pablo :)

 Worn out!

We went down to the harbor. It is so pretty! They also have music and kids activities, a playground shops and restaurants!

Salty Dog for lunch one day.

 Playing cards.
At the Sea Trawler. It was sooo good!!

These last two were taken outside the Sea Trawler restaurant!
