We have been trapped in our house all week because of the snow/ice we have experienced in Georgia. I heard something like 49 out of 50 states have snow this week! Josh was supposed to start school this week and I was supposed to start student teaching, but neither one of those things have happened as of yet. Still waiting on word about whether we will have school Friday or not! Anyways, the four of us have gotten to spend some wonderful quality time together even if we are beginning to experience a little bit of cabin fever. It's been nice to sleep in and cook breakfast together and just be lazy. We've played games, watched tv, read, the boys have played. For the most part, it's been a good week. We are going to try and get out some today. Hopefully, the roads won't be too bad. The boys were up early Monday morning playing in the snow and some on Tuesday.
Cayson got stuck in the snow and daddy had to rescue him. He wasn't very happy after that! He had fun though. He was sliding down hills on his belly :)
Trying to get warm! Holly, as usual, is looking for Josh!
My sweet boys, all bundled up, ready to go outside Tuesday.
For the most part, we have really enjoyed our lazy week at home. We know this kind of weather doesn't happen often in Georgia so it's been kind of neat! We will be happy to get back to our routines though!

Christmas 2010-2
This was actually our first Christmas celebration. We went to my grandparents to eat dinner and open presents! Once again, the boys were spoiled and so were Josh and I. Josh didn't get to go because he was still at home trying to wrap things up for work for the year! But I went ahead and opened some of our combined gifts (mainly spending money for the mountains!)
Cayson opening presents! He got a toy story book or as he calls it...Woody. That's all he really needed. He loves it and has watched the Toy Story 3 movie no less than 100 times since we first ordered it mid December and finally bought it.
Harrison and his girl friend, Hannah. This was my first time meeting her and she's so sweet!
Trying out their hats and gloves my grandmother got them. It was a good thing she bought these since it snowed on us in the mountains Christmas Day! I love that smile of Cayson's!
Hayden opening presents!
My grandmother made sure we had plenty of batteries. However, we left these batteries at home. We got to the mountains and there's no telling how many battery runs we made. We probably spent $30(because we bought them at the gas station around the corner from the cabins we stay at where they are ridiculously priced) on batteries and we had all these at the house!
My little man and me!
Mimi and Cayson
Again...
Notice the tongue sticking out. I need to gather all of the pictures of him with his tongue sticking out. He does it all the time...especially when he's concentrating on something (like opening the banana in this picture).

Christmas 2010- 1
We started our Christmas travels in Bamberg where some of Josh's extended family lives. We went on Thursday and spent Thursday night and Christmas eve there. We had a great time visiting with his family. We only get to see his these family member a couple times a year so it's really nice to spend a couple of days with them. I got a lot pictures before we started opening presents, but then my camera died and I did not have my battery but my little boys were so spoiled. They had like three Christmas this year and it was crazy how much stuff they got!
Josh and Hayden
The cousins!
Dylan and Hayden. I think this picture is precious!
Our little family. I think Josh was trying to talk in this picture. That's why his mouth looks a little funny! It's really hard to get a good picture of all of us!
Hannah and Cayson.
My sweet boys and Holly :) I love this picture of the two of them.
Josh and Cayson.
We had a really great time! I'll be back to post other Christmas pictures. I realized after I started this post that this wasn't actually our first "Christmas" so I'll post those later. We celebrated with my grandparents on Wednesday night.
